Hi, I'm Roger.

I grew up in Ashburn. My first job was as an HVAC technician with my dad. We installed units together, and I learned what it takes to run a business and treat a customer right. I liked the work. But I knew early on that what I really loved was networks and setting up technology.

The moment it clicked was a volunteer project. My dad and I built our church's entire system from zero: speakers, microphones, cabling, WiFi, data and the visuals. We did all of it ourselves. When it was done I knew exactly what we had built, every cable, and it worked. That feeling is why I do this.

Then I joined Liberty Construction, a family-owned general contractor. I take care of all of their technology: the WiFi, cameras, TVs, employee phones and iPads, and their website, libertycd.com. Working next to Aras and John taught me how contracts and change orders really work, and how to take care of clients in DC and across the region. They are still the people I look up to and call with a question.

Liberty showed me what a family business can be. My dad built his company under our name, and I wanted to build mine next to his. So in 2025 I started Cruz Connect. Every job gets the same care as that church system: drawn first, built clean, and handed over so you know exactly what you have.
